I came across the following quote today and thought it was perfect for this Easter weekend. It reminds us that we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Also, it connects us to the knowing that at our very center is peace, hope, joy and love. To revel in the understanding that as we set aside the ego and all its concerns, we connect to Higher Self. Thus, we are transported beyond our perceived limitations and into a world filled with our greatest desires and hopes:
“Easter is not a time for groping through dusty, musty, tomes or tombs to disprove spontaneous generation or even to prove life eternal. It is a day to fan the ashes of dead hope, a day to banish doubt and to seek the slopes where the sun is rising, to revel in the faith which transports us out of awareness and the dead past into the vast and inviting unknown.” ~ Author Unknown, as quoted in the Lewiston Tribune.
